Wasin Cable SA was established in July 2019, due to an ongoing business relationship with Nanjing Wasin Fujikura in China. The factory saw the escalating potential, in the volume of fibre being purchased through the previous company PKP Industry, which led to the opening of Wasin Cable SA, a South African fibre division with the sole distribution rights of Fujikura Fibre Optic Cable throughout Africa.Fibre Optic Cables will be the main focus for Wasin Cable SA. However it will also strongly address other market segments namely: Industrial, Domestic, Energy, Security, Telecommunication, Mining, Fire-Detection, and Automation industries.
