Hello,
Responsible for managing a technology portfolio of applications, software assets, capabilities, and integrations; defines and executes short- and long-term plans, and establishes strategic technology roadmaps for the portfolio in partnership with business priorities.
Consults with and supports CoBank executives and key stakeholders in the identification of priorities, recommending cost effective and technically sound approaches, and supporting the development of comprehensive business cases for each initiative.
Provides leadership and support to the team.
Manages the design, development, and implementation of tightly integrated information technology programs and projects. Responsible for solution delivery and performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and other metrics identified for each initative.
Maintains adequate staffing levels and skills to support CoBank applications in the production environment, including after-hours, on-call support.
Reviews and leads negotiations for vendor software licensing and support agreements. Liaises with legal department and business application owners.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with executive, senior, business and functional leadership.
Maintains focus on emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices, incorporating findings as appropriate into the CoBank environment. Establishes relationships with peers across other Farm Credit System banks and associations.
Maintains an audit-ready posture in all areas of responsibility including Sarbanes-Oxley related control processes.
Provides team leadership and management. Sets performance standards and expectations. Leads by example, Manages workflows, evaluates performance, and recommends personnel actions within delegated authorities. Consults with Human Resources as appropriate.
