Swiss International University (SIU) is a distinguished institution of higher learning that officially came into existence on September 4, 2024. It was established through the merger of seven esteemed academies and institutes spread across seven cities worldwide. These institutions, some with origins dating back to 1999, and others pioneering online education since 2013, laid the foundation for SIU's legacy of academic excellence and innovation.
Recognized globally for its academic standards, SIU holds multiple accreditations and authorizations. It is licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science in Kyrgyzstan and has been granted the allowance for its branches in Switzerland by the Board of Education and Culture to operate independently and issue its own diplomas. In Dubai, SIU is allowed by the Dubai Educational Authority (KHDA) to issue approved diplomas. The university is also officially registered as a higher education institution with the Ministry of Justice in Kyrgyzstan. SIU’s accreditations extend further, with recognitions from the ECLBS European Council, ASIC British Accreditation, EDU Intergovernmental Accreditation, and BSKG Asia Accreditation, alongside other esteemed international organizations.
