Dr. Mathew Plant is a Plastic Surgeon with interests in both Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is Board-Certified in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Plant is rapidly gaining a reputation for being one of the most meticulous and talented surgeons in the area. Dr. Plant grew up in Toronto and went to the University of Waterloo for his undergraduate studies. After scoring in the 99th percentile on his MCATs, Dr. Plant was accepted early to the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. During medical school, Dr. Plant wrote and published several journal articles, including a groundbreaking paper describing a one-stage technique for breast reconstruction after cancer, the first of its kind in Canada. His specialties include but are not limited to, breast enhancement, breast implant revision, and mommy makeovers which may include a tummy tuck or liposuction. In Toronto, Dr. Plant is one of the few plastic surgeons in Canada that offer all kinds and brands of breast implants, including Allergan, Mentor, and the new IDEAL Implant.
