The most common problem in all kind of printer format is dead printer head, everything has its own life but the problem is when it breaks down early. It is just replacing tries on car. Though print head problem occurs when proper care is not there. Nowadays many of the large format printer are based on advance technology that they give signal by using self- diagnosing. Although it doesn’t happen always sometime print quality drops without any warning and you didn’t find any reason for that it means it happen because of Print Head.
There might be many reasons for print head problem but two main issues are discussing below.
The major cause for print head damage in large format printer is not being used for long time. Turning off a printer when it is not use could be result in print head damage.
There are so many small holes or nozzles through which ink passes which can be easily choked with the ink that has dried due to any reason which does not allow to continue flow of ink cause print head damage.

Regular maintenance and calibrate the print head of printer
Machine should be left on auto maintenance function if not use.
