Biryani is derived from the Persian word Birian, which means ‘fried before cooking’ and Birinj, the Persian word for ‘rice’.
Our Master Chefs have curated and blended the ethnic flavors of this scrumptious dish of the Durrani Empire with the modern-fusion style to make the delicious biryani.
The rice gets its robust flavor from a variety of spices, including ginger, garlic, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, saffron and rosewater, as well as from the meat itself.
It’s fiery and aromatic, and heady with black peppercorns, star anise, and cinnamon.
The region’s biryani incorporates all of these flavors, with an added dose of heat from ground green chiles.
